Description
Mini Monkeys is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu class for children aged 4-7 years old. Emphasis is placed on self-defense, escapes, and becoming comfortable with wrestling. An adult/parent is required to participate as a partner for the entire class.
We run two sessions of Mini Monkey Brazilian jiu-jitsu during the year:
- mid January to end of April
- mid September to mid December
Next session starts January 11, 2026
For monkeys with white belt (beginner)
Ages 4-7
Class Sundays 5 – 5:45 pm
Adult must be partner
For monkeys with yellow bar or higher.
Ages 4-7
Class Sundays 6 – 6:45 pm
Adult must be partner
For your first class just wear a t-shirt and shorts. Within 1 month students are expected to purchase a uniform (gi).
